Degree Program

What is Superintendent?

Superintendents provide on-site coordination for all phases of Single and Two-Family construction projects, including coordinating subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. They are usually responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety.

Prerequisite Courses
Students must verify degree level proficiency in Reading, Writing, and Math before program admission.
COFC-1020 required for admission to all CARP Courses

  • Residential Construction Management, AAS Degree
  • Certified Construction Worker Certificate
  • Digital Photographic Technician, Certificate
  • Finish Carpenter Certificate
  • Framing Carpenter Certificate
  • Residential Construction Manager Certificate

  • Degree: 4+ semesters
  • 70 Credit Hours

Spring Semester for Evening Program

Application Process

Applicants to the Residential Construction Management Program must meet all Admissions requirements; complete an application and pay the application fee. Apply to Gwinnett Technical College at and submit all transcripts from high school and previous college work, and take the ACCUPLACER test if required.
