Holtkamp and Woo will join the Board of Trustees in their work to advance support and funding for Gwinnett Technical College’s programs and facilities, student scholarships, and faculty and staff development.

“We are very proud to welcome these two fine and established leaders to the board,” said Mary Beth Byerly, vice president of institutional advancement and executive director, Gwinnett Tech Foundation. “Both Matthew and Angie bring their own distinct knowledge and expertise, plus a belief in the power of education to change lives, that will be of great benefit to our board, to the college and to our students.”

Holtkamp launched Holtkamp Heating and Air in 1995, after working for Atlanta’s three largest air conditioning contractors for a combined 10 years. He currently focuses resources and employee training on finding comfort solutions based on science instead of industry habits. He earned his technical degree in heating and air conditioning from Indian Hills Community College and is a past president of the Metro Atlanta Air Conditioning Association. Holtkamp is a long-term supporter of Gwinnett Tech’s Air Conditioning Technology program and its students, having served as a member of the program’s advisory board and through the establishment of the Holtkamp Heating & Air Conditioning Scholarship.

In 2010, Matthew and his wife, Suzanne, established the Holtkamp Family Foundation to strengthen families by providing critical basic needs, supporting education and encouraging pro-family cultural programs. The Holtkamp Family Foundation instituted and continues to promote the Gwinnett CAN Challenge, a local effort which has collected over 70 tons of food since 2010.

As legal director for Cisco, Woo is part of the team that handles securities, general corporate and governance legal matters for Cisco and its foreign subsidiaries. She joined Scientific Atlanta in 1999, which was acquired by Cisco in 2006. She earned her bachelor’s degree in computer science and master’s degree in business administration from Duke University. She earned her J.D. from the University of Southern California Law Center. At Cisco, Woo is Vice Chair of the Atlanta Civic Council and serves on the STEM2020, the Global Hunger Relief Campaign and the Legal Pro Bono committees. Woo was selected for the Leadership Gwinnett Class of 2015 and participated in Gwinnett’s “Principal for a Day” at Benefield Elementary School. She also serves as the secretary of the Aurora Theatre board of directors, and is on the board of Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta.
