Gwinnett Tech Students to Wind Up and Pitch at First Ever Launch Pad Event

Three entrepreneurial projects submitted by Gwinnett Technical College students and alumni will compete for funding during the first ever Pitch Off event on Thursday, Sept. 10, for Gwinnett County Launch Pad. The competition, a collaboration between public, private and educational organizations in Gwinnett County, will award the winning entrepreneurial idea and team an estimated $100,000 worth of office space, equipment, consulting services and more. Teams from Gwinnett Tech will vie with teams from Georgia Gwinnett College.

The Launch Pad has been designed to create a viable business led by students or near term graduates of the two colleges. The Pitch Off, scheduled for 6 p.m. on Sept. 10, is open to the public and will take place at Cornerstone, 279 W Crogan Street in Lawrenceville.
