Gwinnett Technical College opens its doors to the community to celebrate and honor veterans this Veterans Day by offering the opportunity to meet Cindi Basenspiler, (Army) and hear her powerful, motivating story about overcoming adversities while serving. Basenspiler will share how society can help Veterans transition from military life.


Cindi Basenspiler has over 20 years of dynamic experience as a leader in both for-profit and nonprofit environments, as well as serving in the US Army as a helicopter pilot and maintenance officer.

Basenspiler holds an MBA from the University of Colorado and a BA from the University of South Alabama. She is certified in the Gallup and EQi (Emotional Intelligence) suite of coaching assessments, SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources), PMP (Project Management Professional) and Lean Six Sigma (Process Improvement) Black Belt.

Basenspiler's company, Upshot Inc., provides coaching for individuals and teams. Her coaching specialties are: Leadership, Transition and Team Performance. Each customized program helps clients attain their highest potential, while driving them to form better habits and to make life-enhancing choices.
